a lot of people nowadays have an attitude that spending money on experiences is superior to spending money on stuff. they regard shopping as an activity for the unenlightened, and all the more worthy individuals like themselves would spend their time and money traveling, climbing mountains, or something like that. this is evidenced by the decline of the mall in america, documented by deadmalls.com

well, i think its a pity. shopping in america, other than in nyc or a non-dead mall, kind of sucks. or maybe its the bad economy. i spent much of my childhood living in foreign countries, so i feel like traveling for the sake of traveling is kind of pointless and overrated. i am extremely extroverted and love doing activities Besides shopping, like duh, or else what would i be buying my cute outfits for??

so i was getting together my package to return to deb, and i Still cant decide if i should keep my american flag wayfarers, pictured below

here's what i got:

reign 'destroyed' skinny jeans - they fit well, but the 'destroyed' look didnt work on my legs as i thought it would, returning it

black sweater - ive been looking for the perfect black mesh sweater for more than half my life, i grew older but my tastes endured. it wasnt quite the holy grail of black mesh sweaters (i havent found that yet) but i already cut the tag off and its not hideous so i guess ill keep it

a body-shaping bodysuit - unfortunately i dont think it actually worked or made any difference to my... shape.... so ill probably return it. its also made of some synthetic itchy/irritating material. 

american flag wayfarers - i have been reading way too much total frat move. the sunglasses looked better on the website, and also, who am i kidding, im a tiny asian girl im about the furthest thing from 'all-american' or 'frat'. But i have been wanting wayfarers for some time, although i do have a lot of sunglasses already. so.... im undecided.

and lastly, a beaded necklace. - by far my favorite of all the items in the package. and only $5! exactly my style, perfect for summer, and the blue thing at the top is a leather-like material.

now on to find some scrap embroidery thread so i can make friendship-style bracelets

they say, red and green should never be seen, but how about... pink and green?

Blogging... lol

So I'm back. I've considered changing the url,  seeing as "Bimbo" may not have the best connotatIon, but a) I don't know what to change it to and b) chances  are I'm not going to blog enough to make it  worth it.

I tried blogging in my old, private LiveJournal  to see if I could detect  patterns in my daily life and routine that i could potentially improve on. It lasted all of 2 days.

I don't play miss bimbo/ ma bimbo any more, and i haven't painted my nails in forever. This is because 1) i haven't had time 2) i read about how toxic nail polish is (like duh). However, i still have plenty of diversions to keep me happy,  such as reading other blogs/websites:Total Frat Move, and Fail book / Fail blog being 2 of my favorites.  i still play Sims free play on my ipad, although it's usually limited to the hour before i sleep and never during the day. I still have a need to go shopping periodically, especially for clothes and accessories. I swear i would be a gothic Lolita if the stars align correctly.  I've also dabbled in card making again, all those thank you cards after my son's 1 st birthday. And lots more totally interesting stuff I'm sure you're dying to hear about. 

So I've got a bunch of photos backed  up in my phone, and .5 - 1 hour to kill.  Might as well right?
